Construction Transactions

We draft, review, negotiate, and resolve disputes involving loan documents, mortgages and foreclosures, securities, and development agreements.  As an adjunct to our real estate development practice, we often represent the borrower in all aspects of documentation of building and investment projects. We negotiated deal points with banks and equity sources and document transactions. We have also represented credit unions on a variety of matters, including pursuing a claim against a faithless employee insurance policy where we recovers millions in damages caused by a loan officer who violated established policies of the lender.  We have also been called upon by lenders to pursue recovery on incomplete construction contracts, such as unresolved claims.
